vlog-fluid form process

Review

After exploring other student’s blogs I have found a couple that I really like. I have left comments on some of the blogs that really stood out to me. Matt Armitage’s blog had an awesome layout and I especially liked the way he has personalised the background. His real life network image looks really effective. Another blog I really liked was Chloe Youngson’s. She had a interesting idea for her real life network which led to a powerful image.

The second brief for design 111, ‘structuring the diagram’ was one of my stronger projects. We had to create a working drawing and a well crafted model. My drawing cleary expresses the movements of the ankle and how I related them to my model. My diagram is quite fine and delicate yet still has the powerful feel of depth because of the range in line thickness. The materials I used for my model were; pine, a plastic rod, cardboard, stainless steel and wire. I combined these materials in a way that created a delicate and aesthetically pleasing model to look at. I think that my design was a success because of the careful craft and the clear comparison it has to ankle movements.
